3D mammography, also known as digital breast tomosynthesis, provides greater accuracy for breast cancer detection, potentially at an earlier stage when it is easier to treat. It also reduces callbacks by up to 18%, sparing you the emotional, practical, and economic toll of additional testing.


We also offer conveniently close and easy parking, easy-to-schedule appointments, friendly staff, and mammography technologists with over 25 years of experience.
What Can I Expect?
During a mammogram, one of our specially qualified technologists will position the breast in our advanced 3D mammography system. The unit uses an X-ray arm to sweep over the breast, taking multiple images in just seconds.
Our new system features a patented Comfort Paddle; the only mammogram paddle designed with a 4-way flex to conform to all breast shapes and sizes. This innovation distributes pressure more evenly along the natural curve of the breast, reducing the concentrated force that can cause discomfort. The result is a noticeably more comfortable and gentle experience without compromising image quality.
For annual screenings, this process typically takes about 30 minutes.
How Do I Prepare for My Appointment?
  • Avoid using deodorant, powder, cream, lotion, or perfume under your arms or on
    your breasts, as this could show on your mammogram.​
  • Wear a two-piece outfit, as your top will be removed.
    • You will be given a gown to wear.
  • Try not to schedule during or before your period, as your breasts could be tender.
